What is Somebody who Doesn't Golf Doing at a Golf Tournament?

Bill has performed at many golf tournaments over the years; in 1999 he entertained the participants in two tournaments sponsored by the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce as well as a tournament held by the USC Athletic Department for supporters of USC baseball.

After a day on the links, as the foursomes arrive at the clubhouse, Bill is there to fill in the time until the banquet begins.? While everyone is awaiting dinner, and anticipating the awards to be given out, Bill is strolling amongst them, amazing them with small miracles right under their noses; often right in their hands.

At the 1999 USC tournament, Bill was introduced this way:
